midwest vacationing

Hello fellow blog followers. Long time, no blog! I have had an eventful couple of weeks to tell you about.
We packed up and flew to the lake to spend time with Nonna, GP and Cosmo. Here I am helping Mommy get ready.
I went on my first boat ride. I cannot say that I would be disappointed if it was my last. The life jacket made me uncomfortable and the wind was too much!

Seriously, who thinks this is fun??
I really started to walk around the furniture and with the help of an adult. Here I am strutting my stuff with GP.
Daddy made an awesome tunnel for me to crawl through!
I wish my bed was in one of these fun cages like Cosmo.
I gave Daddy a few pointers on the classic Nintendo.
After a week at the lake, we all loaded up the car and the 6 of us headed to Chicago. We stopped half way to visit Bella, Gibby, Aunt Courtney and Uncle Matt. It was great fun!!
I got to play outside with Bella and Gibson. They are the best cousins! After I took a nap in Gibby's room, we had to get back on the road.
I had a blast in Chicago. Here is my ad for the "Got Milk" campaign. What do you think?

Almost every morning we went for a walk and Cosmo, my new best friend, got to come along.
I tried to call you to say I missed you, but I could not get a dial tone. Sorry.
Daddy and I enjoyed watching Cardinals baseball games together.
One day for lunch we went to Steak 'n Shake and they gave me this great hat!

Nonna had to go downtown to get a shot the day after her chemo, so we tagged along. Here we are on Michigan Avenue.
Downtown Chicago has the most beautiful flowers!
Spending some quality time with Cosmo. Did I mention that his cage is so much fun?!
With all these good looking men in one room, we just had to take a picture. It sure was great to see 2 of my favorite people in the world and my top dog. I will miss all 3 of you very much.

  2. Hey Cole! So glad you got to see Nonna and GP! Our daddies had coffee at the airport without us. Maybe when we can get rid of these naps we won't miss out on the adventures.
