This weekend we piled into the mini van with Kami and Poppy and headed up to pick apples. This was Sister's first time and she seemed to really enjoy the view.
Brother found lots of branches that were the perfect height for him.
I found some beautiful apples myself!
Daddy and I shot apples out of this cannon into a giant field. It was really loud so Brother only tried it once.
Brother opted for easier transportation through the orchard.
We went to the petting zoo area and got to see some cute baby animals.
They were very sweet to me!
Next we went on our own private hayride because we were the first people of the day to ride. I guess the early bird does get the worm!
The International man of leisure and I enjoying the hayride until....
the corn stalks behind us hit us in the heads! We laughed really hard about that!
Next we picked a couple bags of my favorite apples, granny smith, before we packed up the car and headed home.
It was a great and very fun trip. Now to bake some apple pies and make homemade applesauce!
