This morning at breakfast this was sitting in the center of the table.
After a decade of building his school's swim program, Daddy brought home the Boys State Championship last night for the first time. They beat every A through
AAAA school in the state to win-and they are a single A school. Pretty amazing, right? Can you tell he was pretty into it?
I am a proud son. Here I am decked out and ready to go cheer for Daddy and his swimmers.
Poppy joined us for the fun-filled night. I enjoyed eating during pretty much the entire meet. I also love the
backstroke start. I figured out how to do it in the tub the other night.
The boys also broke not one, but TWO state records. One of the records was 17 years old!
I got to go down on the pool deck after the meet to congratulate Daddy on his big win.
