Does it look like I want to be eating this orange goo? No. But Mommy and Daddy kept putting it in my mouth. I think Mommy thinks she can trick me into liking this stuff they call "carrots" by making it with breast milk. What does she take me for? A 3 month old? I did eat them all, but I am not looking forward to more at lunchtime.
cole--i can't wait to make big messes like you at dinnertime! mama thinks she has it bad cleaning up my poo and what not, but she has no idea what is around the corner when i start eating the good stuff in three weeks. thanks for blazing the trails, big boy.

ReplyDeleteThis is Micah Hunter weighing in on the solid food. It is good stuff! I have had Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Pears and Peaches,- Not to mention that smooshy cereal stuff. It really is fun to watch them make faces at you the whole meal- and I've got this great new trick called the "thumb chaser". After each bite you suck your thumb and Mom or Dad or Gran or whoever is the latest victim has to chase your food down your chin. Delightful to watch and it feels really squishy! You've got to try it! Hope to see you soon. Mom and Dad missed you at camp. I guess we were both there last year but you were just a little twinkle in your Daddy's eye. . .
