The day before Easter we decided to start a few new traditions for our family.
Mommy decided that I am old enough to dye Easter eggs now (even though I can't eat them b/c of my allergy!). Here I am mixing in the tablet.
Making an orange egg- my favorite color!
All cute for church (well, everyone but Mommy). We opted to go to Saturday night service like we did last year in order to avoid the giant crowd.
After church we made resurrection rolls. It was a great illustration where Jesus is a giant marshmallow, butter the oil, cinnamon the spices, crescent dough the linens and the oven the tomb. After baking, Jesus is no longer in the tomb! What a great way to see how he was risen! But the real question I asked was "When do we get to eat Jesus?"
